PRACTICE WITH ME IN PERSON

Your Mat Is Waiting.

Coming to class shouldn’t feel complicated.

Bring your mat, bring some water, and wear something you feel comfortable moving in. I’ll take care of the rest.

When you arrive, your place in the room will already be waiting for you.

Come as you are. I saved a mat for you.

BEFORE YOU JOIN ME…

A Few Things to Know

COME PREPARED SO YOU CAN SETTLE IN AND ENJOY YOUR PRACTICE.

ARRIVE EARLY

Please arrive about 5 minutes before class begins.

BRING YOUR MAT

Bring the mat you’re comfortable practicing on.

BRING WATER

Keep a bottle nearby so it’s available when you need it.

WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES

Wear something that lets you move freely. You don’t need special yoga clothes.

PRACTICE BAREFOOT

We practice barefoot—no shoes or socks—for a secure connection with your mat.

SILENCE DEVICES

Turn off or silence your phone and other devices so you can be present.

A little preparation goes a long way.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

Settle In

When you arrive, choose any available place card and make that space yours for our practice together.

Write your name on the side facing the room—it helps me and your classmates get to know you.

If you’d like, use the side facing your mat to write an intention for your practice. A word, a thought, a reminder, or simply something you’d like to carry with you while you’re here.

Then roll out your mat, settle in, and make yourself comfortable.

You’re exactly where you belong .

RUNNING LATE?

Come In Quietly.

Life happens. If class has already begun when you arrive, come in quietly, find the mat location with your name card, and settle in with as little disruption as possible.

There’s no need to explain yourself or make an entrance.

Take a moment, join us when you’re ready, and let the rest of the day stay outside the room.

IN THE STUDIO

A Shared Space.

We’re practicing together, so a few small things help make the room comfortable for everyone.

Keep conversations quiet as people settle onto their mats. Keep personal belongings safely out of the practice area, be mindful of the space around neighboring mats, and avoid strong fragrances that may be distracting or uncomfortable for others.

Different bodies. Different experiences. Different practices. One shared room.

DURING PRACTICE

Your Practice Is Still Yours.

I’ll guide the class, but you are always in charge of your own body.

You’re welcome to pause, rest, take a different variation, or skip something that doesn’t feel right for you.

There’s nothing to prove and no one in the room you need to keep up with.

Listen to your body and make the practice yours.

YOU’RE READY

I Saved a Mat for You.

You don’t need to know what you’re doing before you walk through the door.

You don’t need the perfect mat, the perfect outfit, or the perfect practice.

Just come in and make yourself at home for practice.

Come as you are. During our time together, there’s nowhere else you need to be and nothing else you need to take care of.
